“Where have you been.”
Around the time morning transitioned to noon, that was the question I asked the Heavenly Demon, who appeared late.
“Strolling.”
I furrowed my lips at the simple answer.
“You strolled for the entire day?”
“Yeah.”
“What, how far did you go.”
“Nearby.”
“Your answers are really something.”
It would be better if she just said she didn’t want to answer.
A sigh almost escaped naturally, but I barely held it back.
‘Anyway, it doesn’t matter to me.’
Whether this one went somewhere, or even completely disappeared, it had nothing to do with me.
Yeah, it would actually be better if she disappeared, so it was strange to bother caring about it.
“Tsk.”
I clicked my tongue shortly and moved.
As I moved, the Heavenly Demon quietly followed. I thought about telling her to get lost, but I decided to ignore her on purpose.
While moving, I looked up at the sky.
The crimson sky still felt alien. Moreover.

I was determining it was noon by looking at the sun’s position. But something felt off.
‘The time feels strange.’
By my sense, noon should have passed long ago, and the sun should already be setting, but in reality, the sun was still bright and clear.
